Discuss Appraisal Support

Support before the formal appraisal

Readiness review

Discuss intended scope and review implementation progress to identify gaps and remaining preparation activities.

Evidence organisation

Help teams organise existing processes and records so that implementation can be understood and traced to actual work.

Team preparation

Use remote sessions to help participants understand the preparation activities and explain practices from their own experience.

Preparation coordination

Support agreed preparation activities and clarify responsibilities alongside your organisation and formal appraisal provider.

Clear responsibilities and realistic expectations

Consulting and preparation support are distinct from delivery of a formal appraisal. Formal appraisal arrangements and authorised provider responsibilities must be confirmed separately for your engagement.

A consulting engagement does not guarantee an appraisal rating. Outcomes depend on the organisation’s implemented practices and the formal appraisal process.

Implementation evidence must reflect actual events, activities and decisions. Preparation support does not involve inventing records or presenting unimplemented practices as established.

Plan around your current situation

For an initial discussion, share your development or service context, intended scope, current readiness, preferred timeline and any existing formal appraisal arrangements. We can then agree the preparation support, responsibilities and remote schedule that fit your needs.
